Ta là Ðức Giê-hô-va. Ngươi phải chọn lấy cho ta người Lê-vi thế cho các con trưởng nam trong dân Y-sơ-ra-ên; cũng phải bắt súc vật của người Lê-vi thế cho mọi con súc vật đầu lòng của dân Y-sơ-ra-ên.

In Exodus 30:12, 'they shall give every a person a ransom for his soul,' signifies being purified or liberated from evil by the truth of faith, which here, means acknowledging that all truths and goods are from the Lord.
