¹⁶ Бачивши тоді Ірод, що мудрцї насьміялись із него, розлютував ся вельми, та й послав повбивати всїх дїтей у Витлеємі й у всіх гряницях його, од двох років і меньще, по тому часу, що про него він пильно довідував ся в мудрцїв.

² But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
