1455. 'And he called on the name of Jehovah' means internal worship of His Father arising out of that state. This is clear from the meaning of 'calling on the name of Jehovah', 440. That external worship is meant by 'building an altar to Jehovah', and internal worship by 'calling on the name of Jehovah', may become clear to anyone.
