12 ข้าพเจ้าได้เห็นบรรดาผู้ที่ตายแล้ว ทั้งผู้น้อยและผู้ใหญ่ ยืนอยู่จำเพาะพระพักตร์พระเจ้า และหนังสือต่างๆก็เปิดออก หนังสืออีกม้วนหนึ่งก็เปิดออกด้วย คือหนังสือแห่งชีวิต และผู้ที่ตายไปแล้วก็ถูกพิพากษาตามข้อความที่จารึกไว้ในหนังสือเหล่านั้น ตามที่เขาได้กระทำ
