เอมัส 4:8
Many thanks to Philip Pope for the permission to use his 2003 translation of the English King James Version Bible into Thai. Here's a link to the mission's website: www.thaipope.org
To ask the Father in My Name
In John 15:16, the real meaning here is not that they were to ask the Father in the Lord's name, but that they were to ask the Lord Himself. For no access lies open to Divine Good, which is the Father, except through the Lord's Divine Human. (Arcana Coelestia 6674[3])
In Matthew 5:42, this signifies to share heavenly goods. (Arcana Coelestia 7174[3])
In Matthew 7:7, 8, this signifies that whatever one asks from the Lord, and not from self, is given. (Doctrine Regarding Sacred Scripture 51[3])
