15 ดาวิดถามเขาว่า "เจ้าจะพาเราลงไปถึงกองปล้นนี้หรือไม่" เขาตอบว่า "ขอปฏิญาณแก่ข้าพเจ้าในพระนามของพระเจ้าว่า จะไม่ฆ่าข้าพเจ้า และท่านจะไม่มอบข้าพเจ้าไว้ในมือนายของข้าพเจ้า ข้าพเจ้าจึงจะพาท่านไปที่กองปล้นนั้น"
