2068. 'And he will become nations' means resulting goods. This is clear from the meaning of 'nations' as goods, dealt with in Volume One, in 1259, 1260, 1416, 1849.

1415. Verse 2 And I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you, and I will make your name great; and you will be a blessing. 'I will make you into a great nation' means a kingdom in heaven and on earth - the expression 'great nation' being used from things that are celestial and good. 'And I will bless you' means fruitfulness in celestial and increase in spiritual things. 'And I will make your name great' means glory. 'And you will be a blessing' means that from the Lord comes every single thing.
