At sinabi ni Moises sa Panginoon, Tingnan mo, iyong sinasabi sa akin: Isampa mo ang bayang ito: at hindi mo ipinakilala sa akin kung sino yaong susuguin mo na kasama ko. Gayon ma'y iyong sinabi, Aking nakikilala ka sa pangalan, at ikaw rin naman ay nakasumpong ng biyaya sa aking paningin.

At naparoon ang kaniyang mga kapatid naman at nagpatirapa sa harap niya; at kanilang sinabi, Narito, kaming iyong mga lingkod.
10462. 'And he took the calf which they had made' means the delight which that nation took in idolatrous worship. This is clear from the meaning of 'the calf' as the delight belonging to the Israelite nation's external kinds of love, from which their worship, being idolatrous, sprang and with which it accorded, dealt with above in 10407, 10459.
