10508. 'Behold, My angel will go before you' means that Divine Truth will still be the leader. This is clear from the meaning in the highest sense of 'the angel of Jehovah' as the Lord's Divine Human, and in the relative sense as that which is Divine and the Lord's among angels in the heavens, dealt with in 1925, 2821, 4085, 6831, 9303, so that it means Divine Truth, 8192; and from the meaning of 'going before you' as being the leader.

The angel of Yahweh appeared to him, and said to him, "Yahweh is with you, you mighty man of valor!"

Gideon said to him, "Oh, my lord, if Yahweh is with us, why then has all this happened to us? Where are all his wondrous works which our fathers told us of, saying, 'Didn't Yahweh bring us up from Egypt?' But now Yahweh has cast us off, and delivered us into the hand of Midian."

Yahweh looked at him, and said, "Go in this your might, and save Israel from the hand of Midian. Haven't I sent you?"
