2648. 'Abraham made a great feast' means dwelling together and union. This is clear from the meaning of 'a feast' as dwelling together, dealt with in 2341. Here union is meant as well since the subject is the Lord, whose Human was united to the Divine, and the Divine to the Human. And because this union is the subject it is called 'a great feast'.
