Исход 29

Studie

1 Вот что должен ты совершить над ними, чтобы посвятить их во священники Мне: возьми одного тельца из волов, и двух овнов без порока,

2 и хлебов пресных, и опресноков, смешанных с елеем, и лепешекпресных, помазанных елеем: из муки пшеничной сделай их,

3 и положи их в одну корзину, и принеси их в корзине, и вместе тельца и двух овнов.

4 Аарона же и сынов его приведи ко входу в скинию собрания и омой их водою.

5 И возьми одежды, и облеки Аарона в хитон и в верхнюю ризу, в ефод и в наперсник, и опояшь его по ефоду;

6 и возложи ему на голову кидар и укрепи диадиму святыни на кидаре;

7 и возьми елей помазания, и возлей ему на голову, и помажь его.

8 И приведи также сынов его и облеки их в хитоны;

9 и опояшь их поясом, Аарона и сынов его, и возложи на них повязки ибудет им принадлежать священство по уставу на веки; и наполни руки Аарона и сынов его.

10 И приведи тельца пред скинию собрания, и возложат Аарон и сыны его руки свои на голову тельца,

11 и заколи тельца пред лицем Господним при входе вскинию собрания;

12 возьми крови тельца и возложи перстом твоим на роги жертвенника, а всю кровь вылей у основания жертвенника;

13 возьми весь тук, покрывающий внутренности, и сальник с печени, иобе почки и тук, который на них, и воскури на жертвеннике;

14 а мясо тельца и кожу его и нечистоты его сожги на огне вне стана: это – жертва за грех.

15 И возьми одного овна, и возложат Аарон и сыны его руки свои на голову овна;

16 и заколи овна, и возьми крови его, и покропи на жертвенник со всех сторон;

17 рассеки овна на части, вымой внутренности его и голени его, и положи их на рассеченные части его и на голову его;

18 и сожги всего овна на жертвеннике. Это всесожжение Господу, благоухание приятное, жертва Господу.

19 Возьми и другого овна, и возложат Аарон и сыны его руки свои на голову овна;

20 и заколи овна, и возьми крови его, и возложи на край правого уха Ааронова и на край правого уха сынов его, и на большой палец правой руки их, и на большой палец правой ноги их; и покропи кровью на жертвенник со всех сторон;

21 и возьми крови, которая на жертвеннике, и елея помазания, и покропи на Аарона и на одежды его, и на сынов его, и на одежды сынов его с ним, – и будут освящены, он и одежды его, и сыны его и одежды их с ним.

22 И возьми от овна тук и курдюк, и тук, покрывающий внутренности, и сальник с печени, и обе почки и тук, который на них, правое плечо,

23 и один круглый хлеб, одну лепешку на елее и один опреснок из корзины, которая пред Господом,

24 и положи все на руки Аарону и на руки сынам его, и принеси это,потрясая пред лицем Господним;

25 и возьми это с рук их и сожги на жертвеннике со всесожжением, в благоухание пред Господом: это жертва Господу.

26 И возьми грудь от овна вручения, который для Аарона, и принеси ее,потрясая пред лицем Господним, – и это будет твоя доля;

27 и освяти грудь приношения, которая потрясаема была и плечо возношения, которое было возносимо, от овна вручения, который для Аарона и для сынов его, –

28 и будет это Аарону и сынам его в участок вечный от сынов Израилевых, ибо это – возношение; возношение должно быть от сынов Израилевых при мирных жертвах, возношение их Господу.

29 А священные одежды, которые для Аарона, перейдут после него к сынам его, чтобы в них помазывать их и вручать им священство ;

30 семь дней должен облачаться в них священник из сынов его, заступающий его место, который будет входить в скинию собрания для служения во святилище.

31 Овна же вручения возьми и свари мясо его на месте святом;

32 и пусть съедят Аарон и сыны его мясо овна сего из корзины, у дверей скинии собрания,

33 ибо чрез это совершено очищение для вручения им священства и для посвящения их; посторонний не должен есть сего , ибо это святыня;

34 если останется от мяса вручения и от хлеба до утра, то сожгиостаток на огне: не должно есть его, ибо это святыня.

35 И поступи с Аароном и с сынами его во всем так, как Я повелел тебе; в семь дней наполняй руки их.

36 И тельца за грех приноси каждый день для очищения, и жертву за грех совершай на жертвеннике для очищения его,и помажь его для освящения его;

37 семь дней очищай жертвенник, и освяти его, и будет жертвенниксвятыня великая: все, прикасающееся к жертвеннику, освятится.

38 Вот что будешь ты приносить на жертвеннике: двух агнцев однолетних каждый день постоянно.

39 одного агнца приноси поутру, а другого агнца приноси вечером,

40 и десятую часть ефы пшеничной муки, смешанной с четвертью гина битого елея, а для возлияния четверть гина вина, для одного агнца;

41 другого агнца приноси вечером: с мучным даром,подобным утреннему, и с таким же возлиянием приноси его в благоухание приятное, в жертву Господу.

42 Это – всесожжение постоянное в роды ваши пред дверями скинии собрания пред Господом, где буду открываться вам, чтобы говорить с тобою;

43 там буду открываться сынам Израилевым, и освятится место сие славою Моею.

44 И освящу скинию собрания и жертвенник; и Аарона и сынов его освящу, чтобы они священнодействовали Мне;

45 и буду обитать среди сынов Израилевых, и буду имБогом,

46 и узнают, что Я Господь, Бог их, Который вывел их из земли Египетской, чтобы Мне обитать среди них. Я Господь, Бог их.

10071. 'And the tail' means all truth there. This is clear from the meaning of 'the ram's tail' as truth. 'The tail' means truth because it comes last, and truth resides in last or lowest things, 9959 1 . The tail is also the last part of the cerebrum and cerebellum, for these extend into the spinal cord, and this also terminates in the tail, which is for that reason the appendage at the end of all three. Therefore Leviticus 3:9 says that in sacrifices the tail should be removed next to the backbone. The fact that 'the tail' means truth in last or lowest things, and in the contrary sense falsity, is clear from the following places: In Isaiah,

Jehovah will cut off from Israel head and tail. The old and the honourable [in face] is the head, but the prophet, the teacher of a lie, is the tail. Isaiah 9:14-15.

In the spiritual sense 'cutting off head and tail' means severing good and truth; for the subject is the Church, and when this has been laid waste 'the head' means evil and 'the tail' falsity. 'The head' means good, see 4938, 4939, 5328, 9913, 9914, as does 'the old', 6524, 9404; and 'the prophet' means a teacher of truth, and so in the abstract sense [without reference to persons] truth itself, 2534, 7269. In the contrary sense therefore 'the head' means evil, as do 'the old' and 'the honourable' who will perform it, while 'the tail' means falsity, as does 'the prophet', who is for that reason called 'the prophet of a lie'; for 'a lie' means falsity. In the same prophet,

There will not be for Egypt [any] work which the head and tail may do. Isaiah 19:15.

'Egypt' stands for those who, desiring to enter into the truths and forms of the good of faith, use reasonings based on factual knowledge, and not on revealed truths, thus not on belief in these, 1164, 1165, 1186. The lack of 'work which the head and tail may do' stands for the fact that they have neither good nor truth. The fact that 'the tail' means truth in last or lowest things is evident from its meaning in the contrary sense, in which 'the tail' means falsity. In John,

The locusts had tails like scorpions, and stings were in their tails, and they had power to harm people. Revelation 9:10.

'Tails like scorpions, and stings in their tails' are cunning reasonings based on falsities which they use to convince and thereby damage someone, which is why it says that they had power to harm people. Furthermore falsity in outermost things is meant by 'locust', see 7643. In the same book,

The horses' tails were like serpents, having heads; and by means of them they do harm. Revelation 9:19.

'Tails like serpents' here also stands for reasonings based on falsities which are used to cause harm. In the same book,

The dragon's tail drew a third part of the stars of heaven, and cast them down to the earth. Revelation 12:4.

'The dragon's tail' stands for truths that have been falsified, in particular through the application of them to evils; 'the stars' are cognitions or knowledge of truth and good which has been falsified; and 'casting them down to the earth' means destroying them.

2534. 'For he is a prophet' means that thus it was to be taught. This is clear from the meaning of 'a prophet'. One reads the word 'prophet' many times in the Word, and in the sense of the letter it means those to whom revelation is given, and also - abstractedly from persons - revelation itself. But in the internal sense that word means one who teaches, and also - abstractedly - doctrine itself. And because, as has been stated, the Lord is doctrine itself, or the Word which teaches, He is called 'a Prophet', as also in Moses,

Jehovah your God will raise up a Prophet like me from the midst of you, from your brothers; Him shall you obey. Deuteronomy 18:15, 18.

The words 'like me' are used because the Lord was represented by Moses, as He also was by Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, and many more. And because people awaited Him it is therefore said in John,

When the people saw the sign which Jesus had done, they said, This is indeed the Prophet who is to come into the world. John 6:14.

[2] Since the Lord in the highest sense is 'the Prophet' and 'the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy', Revelation 19:10, 'a prophet' therefore means in the internal sense of the Word a person who teaches, and also - abstractedly - doctrine, as becomes quite clear from the following places: In Luke,

You, child, will be called prophet of the Most High. Luke 1:76.

Zechariah said this in reference to his son, John the Baptist, who was not the prophet but one preparing the way by teaching and preaching the good news about the Lord's Coming, as he himself says,

They asked him, What are you? Are you Elijah? But he said, I am not. Are you the prophet? He answered, No. Therefore they said to him. Who are you? He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord. John 1:21-23.

[3] In Matthew,

Many will say on that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name? Matthew 7:22.

Here it is evident that 'prophesying' means teaching. In John,

You must again prophesy over many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings. Revelation 10:11.

'Prophesying' stands for teaching. What 'peoples', 'nations', 'tongues', and 'kings' mean has been stated and shown in various places. In the same book,

The nations will trample the holy city for forty-two months, but I will grant My two witnesses to prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth. Revelation 11:2-3.

Here also 'prophesying' stands for teaching. In Moses,

Jehovah said to Moses, See, I have made you a god to Pharaoh, and Aaron your brother will be your prophet. Exodus 7:1.

Here 'prophet' stands for one teaching or saying what Moses would have to say. In Joel,

I will pour out My spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Joel 2:28.

'They will prophesy' stands for they will teach.

[4] In Isaiah,

Jehovah has poured out over you a spirit of sleep, and has closed your eyes; the prophets and your heads, the seers, He has covered; and the vision of all this has become to you like the words of a sealed book which men give to one who is able to read, saying, Read this, now; and he will say, I cannot, for it is sealed. Isaiah 29:10-11.

Here 'the prophets' is used to mean those who teach truth, and 'the seers' those who see truth. Their heads are said to be 'covered' when they know no truth at all and see none at all. Because in ancient times those who taught were called prophets, they were also called 'seers', for 'seeing' meant understanding, 2150, 2325. The fact that they were called 'seers', see 1 Samuel 9:9; 2 Samuel 24:11. They were also called 'men (vir) of God' because of the meaning 'man' carried, dealt with in 158, 265, 749, 915, 1007, 2517. The fact that they were called 'men of God', see 2 Kings 1:9-16; 4:7, 9, 16, 21-22, 25, 27, 40, 42; 5:8, 14, 20; 13:19; 23:16-17.

[5] That 'prophets' means in the internal sense those who teach is clear in the whole of Jeremiah 23 and the whole of Ezekiel 13, where prophets are referred to specifically, and also in many other places where they are mentioned. This also explains why 'pseudoprophets' means those who teach falsities, as in Matthew,

At the close of the age many pseudoprophets will arise and lead many astray. False Christs and false prophets 1 will arise and will show great signs, and will lead astray, if possible, even the elect. Matthew 24:11, 24; Mark 13:22.

No others are meant here by 'pseudoprophets' and 'false prophets', nor likewise by the pseudoprophet in Revelation 16:13; 19:20; 20:10.

[6] How much the internal sense of the Word is obscured by ideas that have been conceived from the representatives of the Jewish Church becomes clear from the fact that every time a prophet is mentioned in the Word the idea of prophets like those who lived in those times immediately springs to mind, an idea which impedes greatly any discernment of what is meant by them. But the wiser anyone is, the more easily is an idea conceived from such representatives banished. For example, when the temple is mentioned, people who are more wise in their thinking do not envisage the temple in Jerusalem but the temple of the Lord; when Mount Zion, or simply Zion, is mentioned, they do not envisage a location in Jerusalem but the Lord's kingdom; and when Jerusalem is mentioned, they do not envisage the Jerusalem situated in the tribe of Benjamin and Judah but the holy and heavenly Jerusalem.

Poznámky pod čarou:

1. Here, apparently following Schmidius' Latin version of the Scriptures, Swedenborg has two similar but not identical expressions - pseudoprophetae and falsi prophetae. But in the original Greek the same word occurs in both places.
