87. Internal Meaning of Jeremiah, Chapter 21
1-2 The hell of blasphemers of the Lord and of profaners of the Word was present. (3)
3-5 The Lord cannot turn this away, because they ally it to themselves. (3)
6 Everything that they have is such; (3, 12)
7 and they will all perish. (3, 15)
8-10 Those who study the Word are worse off because they study it from something profane that is within. (3, 15)
11-12 There is no good and truth. (3, 15)

The word which came to Jeremiah from Yahweh, when king Zedekiah sent to him Pashhur the son of Malchijah, and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah, the priest, saying,

Please inquire of Yahweh for us; for Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon makes war against us: perhaps Yahweh will deal with us according to all his wondrous works, that he may go up from us.
