⁹ မောဘပြည်သည် လွတ်ရာသို့ ပြေးရအောင် ငှက်တောင်တို့ကို ပေးလော့။ မြို့တို့သည်နေသောသူမရှိ၊ လူဆိတ်ညံရာဖြစ်ကြလိမ့်မည်။

¹¹ ရေကူးသောသူသည် ရေကူးခြင်းငှါ လက်ကို ဆန့်သကဲ့သို့၊ မောဘပြည်အလယ်၌ လက်တော်ကို ဆန့် ၍၊ မောဘ၏မာနနှင့် လက်သတ္တိကို ချတော်မူလိမ့်မည်။

¹¹ Yes, the dogs are greedy, they can never have enough; and these are shepherds who can't understand: they have all turned to their own way, each one to his gain, from every quarter.

¹² "Come," [say they], "I will get wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and tomorrow shall be as this day, [a day] great beyond measure."
