³⁸ အသုံးမရသော အိုးကိုခွဲတတ်သကဲ့သို့၊ မောဘ ပြည်ကို ငါခွဲသောကြောင့်၊ မောဘပြည်အိမ်မိုးများ အပေါ်၌၎င်း၊ လမ်းများ၌၎င်း၊ ညည်းတွားမြည်တမ်း ခြင်းနှံ့ပြားရမည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။

¹² ထိုကာလ၌ ငါသည် မီးခွက်ကို ကိုင်၍ ယေရုရှ လင်မြို့ကို စစ်ကြောမည်။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ကျေးဇူးကို လည်းမပြု၊ အပြစ်ကိုလည်း မပေးဟု အောက်မေ့လျက်၊ မိမိတို့အနည်အဖတ်ပေါ်၌ နေရာကျသော သူတို့ကို ငါစစ်ကြောမည်။

¹ Who is this who comes from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this who is glorious in his clothing, marching in the greatness of his strength? "It is I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save."

² Why are you red in your clothing, and your garments like him who treads in the wine vat?

³ "I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the peoples there was no man with me: yes, I trod them in my anger, and trampled them in my wrath; and their lifeblood is sprinkled on my garments, and I have stained all my clothing.
