³⁸ အသုံးမရသော အိုးကိုခွဲတတ်သကဲ့သို့၊ မောဘ ပြည်ကို ငါခွဲသောကြောင့်၊ မောဘပြည်အိမ်မိုးများ အပေါ်၌၎င်း၊ လမ်းများ၌၎င်း၊ ညည်းတွားမြည်တမ်း ခြင်းနှံ့ပြားရမည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။

¹¹ ရေကူးသောသူသည် ရေကူးခြင်းငှါ လက်ကို ဆန့်သကဲ့သို့၊ မောဘပြည်အလယ်၌ လက်တော်ကို ဆန့် ၍၊ မောဘ၏မာနနှင့် လက်သတ္တိကို ချတော်မူလိမ့်မည်။

²⁸ After this, Jesus, seeing that all things were now finished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, "I am thirsty."

²⁹ Now a vessel full of vinegar was set there; so they put a sponge full of the vinegar on hyssop, and held it at his mouth.

³⁰ When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, "It is finished." He bowed his head, and gave up his spirit.
