²⁵ യെരീഹോവിനെ ഒറ്റുനോക്കുവാന്‍ അയച്ച ദൂതന്മാരെ രാഹാബ് എന്ന വേശ്യ ഒളിപ്പിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു യോശുവ അവളെയും അവളുടെ പിതൃഭവനത്തെയും അവള്‍ക്കുള്ള സകലത്തെയും ജീവനോടെ രക്ഷിച്ചു; അവള്‍ ഇന്നുവരെയും യിസ്രായേലില്‍ പാര്‍ക്കുംന്നു.
