¹⁷ കയീന്‍ തന്റെ ഭാര്യയെ പരിഗ്രഹിച്ചു; അവള്‍ ഗര്‍ഭം ധരിച്ചു ഹാനോക്കിനെ പ്രസവിച്ചു. അവന്‍ ഒരു പട്ടണം പണിതു, ഹാനോക്‍ എന്നു തന്റെ മകന്റെ പേരിട്ടു.
