²⁰ അപ്പോള്‍ ഗെരാര്‍ദേശത്തിലെ ഇടയന്മാര്‍ഈ വെള്ളം ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്കുള്ളതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു യിസ്ഹാക്കിന്റെ ഇടയന്മാരോടു ശണ്ഠയിട്ടു; അവര്‍ തന്നോടു ശണ്ഠയിട്ടതുകൊണ്ടു അവന്‍ ആ കിണറ്റിനു ഏശെക്‍ എന്നു പേര്‍ വിളിച്ചു.

⁴⁵ But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I am the LORD.
