²⁴ ഒന്നാമത്തവന്‍ ചുവന്നവനായി പുറത്തുവന്നു, മേല്‍ മുഴുവനും രോമംകൊണ്ടുള്ള വസ്ത്രംപോലെ ഇരുന്നു; അവന്നു ഏശാവ് എന്നു പേരിട്ടു.

³² If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.

²⁶ യോസേഫ് നൂറ്റിപ്പത്തു വയസ്സുള്ളവനായി മരിച്ചു. അവര്‍ അവന്നു സുഗന്ധവര്‍ഗ്ഗം ഇട്ടു അവനെ മിസ്രയീമില്‍ ഒരു ശവപ്പെട്ടിയില്‍ വെച്ചു.
