²⁰ തന്റെ ഭാര്യ മച്ചിയായിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു യിസ്ഹാക്‍ അവള്‍ക്കു വേണ്ടി യഹോവയോടു പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിച്ചു; യഹോവ അവന്റെ പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥന കേട്ടു; അവന്റെ ഭാര്യ റിബെക്കാ ഗര്‍ഭം ധരിച്ചു.

³² If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.

³ സാറാ അബ്രാഹാമിന്നു പ്രസവിച്ച മകന്നു അവന്‍ യിസ്ഹാക്‍ എന്നു പേരിട്ടു.
