¹² സാറയുടെ മിസ്രയീമ്യദാസി ഹാഗാര്‍ അബ്രാഹാമിന്നു പ്രസവിച്ച മകനായ യിശ്മായേലിന്റെ വംശപാരമ്പര്യം അവരുടെ വംശാവലിപ്രകാരം പേരുപേരായി യിശ്മായേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെ പേരുകള്‍ ആവിതുയിശ്മായേലിന്റെ ആദ്യജാതന്‍ നെബായോത്ത്,

³² If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.

¹⁹ ഇവര്‍ എദോം എന്നും പേരുള്ള ഏശാവിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും അവരില്‍നിന്നു ഉത്ഭവിച്ച പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും ആകുന്നു.
