⁹ യഹോവ നിങ്ങളോടു ചെയ്ത നിയമത്തിന്റെ പലകകളായ കല്പലകകളെ വാങ്ങുവാന്‍ ഞാന്‍ പര്‍വ്വതത്തില്‍കയറി നാല്പതു രാവും നാല്പതു പകലും പര്‍വ്വതത്തില്‍ താമസിച്ചുഞാന്‍ ആഹാരം കഴിക്കയോ വെള്ളം കുടിക്കയോ ചെയ്തില്ല.

⁴⁵ But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I am the LORD.
