3199. 'And behold, the camels were coming' means towards general facts in the natural man. This is clear from the meaning of 'camels' as general facts in the natural man, dealt with in 3048, 3071. It was a directing of the attention towards facts because truth was expected from them, as is clear from what has often been stated and shown above in this chapter.
