He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.
6735. 'And she opened it, and saw him, the child' means an investigation to find out what it was like, and the discernment that it was truth originating in the Divine. This is clear from the meaning of 'opening as investigating to find out what it was like, for one who opens something to see what it is and what it is like is investigating it; from the meaning of 'seeing' as discernment, dealt with just above in 6732; and from the representation of Moses, to whom 'the child' refers here, as the law of God or God's truth, dealt with below, thus truth originating in the Divine.
