6761. 'And he struck the Egyptian' means that he destroyed alienated factual knowledge. This is clear from the meaning of 'striking' as destroying, as above in 6758; and from the meaning of 'the Egyptian' as factual knowledge alienated from truth, dealt with in 6692.
