That this signifies a representative of the Divine Human of the Lord in respect to the Divine good from Him, is evident from the signification of “an altar,” as being a representative of the Divine Human of the Lord (see n. 921, 2777, 2811, 4489), and from this the main representative of the worship of the the Lord, (n. 4541, 8935, 8940); and from the signification of “the mountain,” as being the good of love (n. 4210, 6435, 8327, 8658, 8758), here the Divine good of love proceeding from the Lord, because it was Mount Sinai, where the Lord then was.
