Verse 46. Before they enter upon the internal state of good, whilst still in external principles and in the first stage of regeneration in that region of the mind formerly occupied by the love of self, the chief evil of the soul, which dominated over the natural mind, but which was conquered by Divine truth from the Word and the new regenerate principles of the mind derived therefrom after the soul was delivered from the bondage of its old fallacies,
