113. Therefore the Lord says in Matthew:
Blind Pharisee, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also. (Matthew 23:26) And in Isaiah: Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil.... (And then, ) though your sins be like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. (Isaiah 1:16, 18)
