Arcana Coelestia # 1445
1445. Verse 7 And Jehovah appeared to Abram and said, To your seed will I give this land; and there he built an altar to Jehovah who had appeared to him.
'Jehovah appeared to Abram' means that Jehovah showed Himself to the Lord when He was still a boy. 'And He said, To your seed will I give this land' means that celestial things would be granted to those who had faith in Him. 'And there he built an altar to Jehovah who had appeared to him' means initial worship of His Father from the celestial, which essentially is love.
Numbers 13:27-29

They told him, and said, "We came to the land where you sent us; and surely it flows with milk and honey; and this is its fruit.

However the people who dwell in the land are strong, and the cities are fortified, [and] very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there.

Amalek dwells in the land of the South: and the Hittite, and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, dwell in the hill country; and the Canaanite dwells by the sea, and along by the side of the Jordan."
