Edom
'Edom' or 'Idumea,' as in Isaiah 34:5, signifies people who are in evil and falsities derived there.
Slain, carcasses
In Nahum 3:3, 'a multitude of slain' relates to people who perish from falsities, and 'a great number of carcasses' to people who perish from evils. (Apocalypse Explained 355[23])
