Unicorn, a young

In Deuteronomy 33:17, Numbers 23:22; 24:8; Psalms 22:21; 92:10, the strength of a unicorn signifies the power of truth from good. "Divine truths, on account of their height, are called 'unicorn horns'. It is for this reason that mention is made so many times of a horn being exalted, for exaltation means power derived from what is interior." (Arcana Coelestia 2832, 4402[11])

In Psalms 29:6, in the opposite sense, a calf and the offspring of unicorns mean the falsities of the natural and sensual self. (Doctrine Regarding Sacred Scripture 18)
