¹ And Jehovah spoke to^▵ Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the Tabernacle of the congregation^◦, on^◦ the first^◦ of the second month, in the second year after they were come·​·out of the land of Egypt, saying,

¹⁴ And the days in which we walked from Kadesh-barnea, until we crossed·​·over the brook Zaredh, were thirty and eight years; until all the generation of the men^◦ of war was entirely consumed from among the camp, as^◦ Jehovah promised to them.
