^{6 21} And Moses spoke to^▵ the sons of Israel, and all of their chiefs gave to^▵ him one rod for a chief, one rod for a chief, for the house of their fathers, twelve rods; and the rod of Aaron was in the midst of their rods.

² And all the sons of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron; and all the congregation said to^▵ them, Would·​·that we had died in the land of Egypt! Or would·​·that we had died in this wilderness!
