and he took from the city one eunuch, who was appointed over the men◦ of war; and seven men◦ of them that saw the face of the king, which were found in the city; and the scribe of the commander◦ of the army, who made· the people of the land ·an··army; and sixty men◦ of the people of the land, that were found in the midst of the city.
Because a nearer and stronger divine influx through the heavens disperses truths among the wicked, 'wind' signifies this dispersion of truth and the resulting conjunction with hell, and eventually, destruction. 'Wind,' as in Jeremiah 22:22, signifies the emptiness and vacancy of doctrine.
