²⁴ Behold, the embankments! They have come to the city to take^◦ her; and the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans, who fight against it, because of the sword, and of the famine, and of the pestilence; and what Thou hast spoken shall be; and, behold, Thou shalt see.

²⁸ Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the eternal God is Jehovah, the Creator of the ends of the earth? He faints not, neither does He tire; none can search·​·out His understanding.
