¹⁸ thou doest mercy unto thousands, and repayest the iniquity of the fathers into^▵ the bosom of their sons after them; the Great, the Mighty God^◦, Jehovah of Armies, is His name,

²⁸ Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the eternal God is Jehovah, the Creator of the ends of the earth? He faints not, neither does He tire; none can search·​·out His understanding.
