6455. 'In the cave which is in the field of Machpelah' means in that obscurity. This is clear from the meaning of 'the cave', and also of 'Machpelah', as obscurity. For the meaning of 'the cave' as obscurity, see 2975, 6453, and of 'Machpelah', 2935, though 'Machpelah' means the essential nature of the obscurity.
