6 And the land was not able to bear them, that they might dwell together, for their acquisition was great◦, and they were· not ·able to dwell together.

South and southward

  

'The land of the south,' as in Genesis 24:62, signifies divine light, for 'the south' signifies light, and the light of intelligence, which is wisdom.
