²⁵ And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob My servant, wherein^◦ your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell in it, even they^◦, and their sons, and their sons’ sons to^◦ eternity; and My servant David shall be chief to them to eternity.

^{2 1} But thou^◦, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among^◦ the thousands of Judah, yet from thee shall He go·​·out to Me to be ruler in Israel; and His goings·​·out have been from ancient times, from the days of eternity.
