^{16 15} And when^◦ a man^◦ shall entice a virgin who is not betrothed, and shall lie with her, endowing he shall endow her to himself for a woman.

^{16 17} And thou shalt bring·​·together all the spoil of it, into the midst of her avenue, and shalt burn·​·up the city with fire, and all the spoil of it, all of it, for Jehovah thy God; and it shall be a mound of eternity; it shall not be built any more.
