⁵ But^◦ thus you shall do to them; you shall tear·​·down their altars, and break their statues, and hew·​·down their groves, and burn·​·up their graven images with fire.

¹⁵ (for Jehovah thy God is a jealous God^◦ among you), lest the anger of Jehovah thy God be·​·fierce against thee, and blot· thee ·out from upon the face of the ground.
