7 If there be among◦ thee someone needy from one of thy brothers within any one of thy gates in thy land which Jehovah thy God gives thee, thou shalt not make thy heart obstinate, nor shut·​·tightly thy hand from thy needy brother;

'Pairs of hands, eyes, etc.' relate to the will and understanding, or to good and truth. The right side to the will or good, and the left to the understanding or truth.
