12 And Absalom sent Ahithophel the Gilonite, a counselor of David, from his city, from Giloh, when he sacrificed the sacrifices. And the conspiracy was encouraged, and the people walked and were many with◦ Absalom.

'To pass through,' as in Genesis 30:32, signifies knowing and perceiving something's quality. 'To pass,' as in Genesis 31:52, signifies flowing in. 'To pass the night,' as in Genesis 24:54, signifies having peace.
