Verse 9. ...That it is of the greatest importance to understand that charity, and not faith alone, is that which particularly distinguishes the man of the Spiritual Church, who from Divine Truth engages in conflict against evil; and that gives conjunction with the Lord. For it is the function of the spiritual man to minister to the celestial, and at the same time to the natural man, as a medium of conjunction.
Numbers 19:21-22

It shall be a perpetual statute to them: and he who sprinkles the water for impurity shall wash his clothes, and he who touches the water for impurity shall be unclean until evening.
