11 わたしは悔改めのために、水でおまえたちにバプテスマを授けている。しかし、わたしのあとから来る人はわたしよりも力のあるかたで、わたしはそのくつをぬがせてあげる値うちもない。このかたは、聖霊と火とによっておまえたちにバプテスマをお授けになるであろう。

9322. 'And you shall serve Jehovah your God' means worship of the Lord alone. This is clear from the meaning of 'serving' as worship, as above in 9318. The reason why worship of the Lord is meant is that in the Word 'Jehovah' is the Lord, 1343, 2921, 3035, 5663, 6280, 6281, 6303, 6945, 6956, 8864.
