Samaritan
'The Samaritans' signify the Gentiles or nations which would receive doctrine from the Lord and about Him. 'City of the Samaritan,' as in Matthew 10:5, signifies the false doctrine of people who reject the Lord. 'The Samaritans,' in Luke 10, refers to the Gentiles in charity towards their neighbors.
