That they were called “Man” in the day that they were created, appears also from the first chapter (Genesis 1:26-27), that is, at the end of the sixth day, which answers to the evening of the sabbath, or when the sabbath or seventh day began; for the seventh day, or sabbath, is the celestial man, as was shown above.
