Ezechiele 15:3

Studie

3 Può egli prendersene alcun legno da farne qualche lavorio? può egli pur prendersene un cavigliuolo, da appiccarvi su qualunque arnese?

To many Protestant and Evangelical Italians, the Bibles translated by Giovanni Diodati are an important part of their history. Diodati’s first Italian Bible edition was printed in 1607, and his second in 1641. He died in 1649. Throughout the 1800s two editions of Diodati’s text were printed by the British Foreign Bible Society. This is the more recent 1894 edition, translated by Claudiana.

Israel didn't always have a king. They wanted one to be like other nations, and God warned them against it. Over the centuries their kings gradually led them astray, and away from God. Now they are only following their heart's desire, and this week we take a look at what they have got themselves into.
