Esodo 6:15
To many Protestant and Evangelical Italians, the Bibles translated by Giovanni Diodati are an important part of their history. Diodati’s first Italian Bible edition was printed in 1607, and his second in 1641. He died in 1649. Throughout the 1800s two editions of Diodati’s text were printed by the British Foreign Bible Society. This is the more recent 1894 edition, translated by Claudiana.
Arcana Coelestia # 7187
7187. 'Now you will see what I will do to Pharaoh' means a clear perception of what is going to happen to those who molest. This is clear from the meaning of 'seeing' as discernment, dealt with in 2150, 3764, 4567, 4723, 5400, in this case a clear perception since the expression is used in reference to instruction received from the Divine; from the meaning of 'what I will do' as what is going to happen; and from the representation of 'Pharaoh' as those who molest by introducing falsities, dealt with in 6651, 6679, 6683, 7107, 7110, 7116, 7142.
