Daniel 9:19

Studie

19 Signore, esaudisci; Signore, perdona; Signore, attendi, ed opera, senza indugio, per amor di te stesso, o Dio mio; perciocchè la tua città, e il tuo popolo, si chiamano del tuo Nome.

To many Protestant and Evangelical Italians, the Bibles translated by Giovanni Diodati are an important part of their history. Diodati’s first Italian Bible edition was printed in 1607, and his second in 1641. He died in 1649. Throughout the 1800s two editions of Diodati’s text were printed by the British Foreign Bible Society. This is the more recent 1894 edition, translated by Claudiana.

157. The Divine Human is "the holy thing" (as in Luke 1, and elsewhere in the Word; from Psalms 89:4, 5, 20, and Daniel 9); "the Holy of Holies" (as in many passages), "the Holy One of Israel", (quote freely). That "the Holy thing" is the Divine Human is clear in Luke 1.
